Sunday Workshop Series: Training and Personal Growth

This series of experiential and training workshops utilizes action methods (sociometry, psychodrama, role play and group psychotherapy), to explore various issues that are of concern to participants. These workshops are held on Sundays and are open to all who are interested in action methods and psychodrama. Social workers seeking CEU’s will receive detailed course description and objectives.

Jaqueline Dubbs Siroka is the Clinical Director of the Sociometric Institute 1991-present, Former Director Psychodrama Services Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit, NJ, and Supervising Psychodramatist St. Elizabeth Hospital, Washington D.C. She was formally on the Faculty of SUNY Stony Brook, NY, Rutgers University and Rutgers Graduate School, NJ in clinical social work. She is a Diplomate in clinical social work with additional training and certification in Psychodrama Sociometry and group psychotherapy.

Jaye Moyer is a licensed psychotherapist clinical supervisor in New York City and Orange County, New York. She is certified as a trainer, educator and practitioner by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. Formerly, Jaye served on the staff of Hudson Valley Mental Health in Duchess County, New York. She was a former Clinical supervisor and coordinator of Group Services at GMHC. Jaye is the co-creator of the "Labyrinth" series for women and a current faculty member of the Psychodrama Training Institute of New York. She is also a founder and co-creator of IntegralTherapy.net working at the intersection of mindfulness, compassion and psychotherapy.

In her private practice, she specializes in relationship issues, addictions, trauma, and sexuality and intimacy. She received her MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work. In addition, she directed the family program at St. Luke-Roosevelt’s Smithers Alcoholism Rehab Unit. Currently, Nan is an adjunct faculty member at Fordham University School of Professional and Continuing Studies. She is currently co-director of the Psychodrama Training Institute, a division of the Sociometric Institute where she offers supervision, consultation, and training in psychotherapy and psychodrama.

These two weekly psychodrama groups are ongoing personal growth and training groups for men and women. These groups will use psychodramatic techniques and expressive therapies to explore issues of personal development .Dealing with uncomfortable feelings, issues of trust, shame, relationships, intimacy and career decisions are among the topics that will be explored. We will look at behaviors that prevent us from being free to live our lives fully.
